Construction on Spooky Nook sports complex faces additional delays, developer says !

Cincinnati, OH – Completion of the massive Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill project in Hamilton is facing further construction delays, the developer said in a Facebook post Monday.

The project is now slated to be finished in September, according to the developer.

“We are still aggressively pressing to improve this timeline, although we have limited control of the construction process,” the post reads.

Spooky Nook’s post didn’t specify why the project’s completion date needed to be pushed back. The Enquirer sent messages seeking comment to the company Monday evening but it has yet to respond.

Previously, officials have cited delays stemming from supply chain problems and other pandemic-related issues. Construction of the athletic complex also faced setbacks last year due to a weather-related steel collapse at building 500, a large indoor turf field.
