THIS WEEK’S FIELD TIP
Our tip this week is to ‘make a bang for a buck’… allow us to explain. You know it must be fall because the National Recreation & Parks Association annual conference and trade show kicks off later this week, October 5 – 8 to be exact.This year the event takes place at the America’s Center Convention Complex in beautiful downtown St. Louis, smack dab in the middle of the U.S. This annual event signals the start of the trade show season for those of us in the sports turf industry. As the growing season begins to fade from north to south, the education events ramp up.
As has been the case for the past several decades, Beacon will be a participant in the trade show. We are looking forward to seeing many of our Park & Rec friends there. Be sure to drop by Booth 1129 on the trade show floor to say hello to Beacon reps Josh, Kevin and David. They’ll be on hand to answer inquiries and talk to you about what’s new with Beacon. We’ll have the Streamliner chalker in the booth as well as information about our newly updated online training at Groundskeeper University (going live Oct. 1). We’ll also have the SweetSpot Tamp System where you can participate in our NEW “Bang for a Buck!” event.
Here is how it will work: when you visit our booth at the NRPA in St. Louis, ask to try out our SweetSpot Tamp.
